    Standard turnaround times on all fixed price repairs is 10-14 working days however Pen Tech will always attempt to return your repair well within this time frame.
     
    There is an evaluation fee of £45 for any repairs which are returned unrepaired by customer request.
     
    Prices exclude VAT and carriage to/from Pen Tech.
     
    Units that have been subjected to major impact or compression damage, immersion in liquids, or excessive heat are likely to be Beyond Economic Repair, as are units where the repair history shows multiple and consistent failure, or where the ability and cost of sourcing replacement or refurbished parts becomes prohibitive. The causes listed above are not exclusive. The judgement that a unit is Beyond Economic Repair is solely at the discretion of Pen Mobile. In the event that a unit is judged on inspection by Pen Mobile to be Beyond Economic Repair, the Customer will be advised accordingly. Such units are not normally returned to the customer, but are disposed of by Pen Mobile. In the event however that the customer wishes the unit to be returned to them, they must advise the Company within 5 working days of receipt of notification that the unit is BER. In these circumstances, the shipping/packaging costs of returning the unit will be charged to the customer. If a unit is judged to be BER the customer will be offered a replacement new or refurbished unit, subject to availability, at a discounted rate.
